Zaatar is a fragrant, acidic and slightly salty blend that is very versatile. Most often, it is used in finishing on grilled meats. It can also be used as a dip, with olive oil and pita bread. Very good with fresh cheese (labneh or cream cheese), spread on a bagel, it is also pleasantly hummus and baba ganouj.
Ingredients: zaatar thyme, sesame, sumac, salt, anise, fennel, cumin, oregano.
