A rich and sumptuous version of the Berber classics of Ethiopia.
Berbere is a complex spice blend that is used primarily in Ethiopia's cuisine. It is a go-anywhere mix that, a bit like a curry, is used in many dishes. In his home country, he perfumes stews of all kinds and doro wett, one of the most famous Ethiopian dishes. The berbere is also delicious to marinate poultry before grilling, to raise a soup or a simple tomato sauce.
Our royal version is prepared from peppers that we roast ourselves. It also contains rare spices harvested from Ethiopian wild coffee forests, such as Korarima cardamom and Timiz long pepper. The blend, to which we also add Ethiopian thyme, is both much more complex and refined than its original version.
