The Grimm's intent is to design toys, whose simple and reduced design together with beautiful colouring and inviting surface feel are well suited for all ages – products that are played with over and over again.
Grimm's is a family owned company which develops, manufactures and sells wooden toys worldwide.
The headquarters staff in Hochdorf, Germany does all the design work, the surface finish and treatment, assembly, quality control, packing and shipping.
After receipt of the raw products, they inspect for quality and complete the remaining production steps in Germany.
Most of their products are sanded by hand, which gives them a different look and feel versus machined products.
For years, they have chosen to use wood from sustainable forestry sources, and now they are delighted to announce that they are also certified according to the FSC Standard (Forest Stewardship Council).
All colors and oils they use are certified in accordance with the EN 71 and CPSIA/ASTM 963 standards. They are completely harmless.
The fabrics of their dolls are Oeko-Tex certified.
Most of their products are also suitable for therapeutic work in many ways.
